Inspired by the impressive architecture of the “New Palace” the “Sanssouci, Potsdam” Pen of the Year offers the ultimate in luxury. The pen comes with an 18-carat, bicolor gold nib that is run in by hand and an endcap that protects the rotary knob of the plunger mechanism of the plunger-type fountain pen. Four large, green Silesian serpentines are embedded into the platinum-plated barrel and the cap is adorned with grey, shimmering, Russian quartz with a facet finish.
With only 1000 made, each pen is individually numbered and comes in a highly polished, deep-black wooden case. It includes a certificate personally signed by the master craftsman of the Herbert Stephan gemstone manufactory attesting to the authenticity of the natural stones. Price is approximately $4,550.
