Candice Quinn’s inspiration often comes from unexpected encounters with nature. “Nature’s palette influences not only my choice of colors but also the textures and materials. By integrating these natural inspirations, I aim to evoke a sense of calm and connection with the environment,” she explains. One particularly memorable experience was a morning hike where she stumbled upon a striking saguaro cactus skeleton. This serendipitous find became the focal point of a luxury vacation home, demonstrating how a single element from nature can transform a design concept into a unique branding icon.

Quinn’s designs are known for their minimalist approach, intricate detailing, and a touch of surprise. “My designs are infused with my signature blend of minimalism, layering, and very intricate details. Each project I work on offers at least one element of surprise or interest,” she notes. This philosophy was particularly evident in a project featuring a barrel vault ceiling adorned with zellige tiles. The complexities of sourcing the perfect tile and finding an artisan capable of executing the vision paid off, creating a standout feature that sparked numerous design discussions.
The journey to creating exceptional spaces is often fraught with challenges. Quinn thrives on these moments, referring to them as “happy accidents.” “Renovation projects frequently present unexpected challenges. Contractors often uncover issues during demolition that necessitate deviations from our original design plans. Surprisingly, some of these changes have resulted in the most rewarding design elements,” she reflects.
Quinn is also at the forefront of integrating technology into her designs. “One exciting concept we’re currently exploring involves not only rendering spaces for our clients but also integrating virtual reality. This allows clients to experience and navigate through their designed spaces in a completely immersive way,” she shares. This forward-thinking approach ensures that London Pierce Design remains at the cutting edge of the industry.
For Quinn, design transcends aesthetics. It’s about influencing how people live and perceive their surroundings. “Design influences how people live, how they perceive their surroundings, and ultimately how they feel. We firmly believe that exceptional design can make a monumental impact on people’s lives,” she emphasizes. Opening the London Pierce Home showroom in Scottsdale, Arizona, has been a defining moment in Quinn’s career. “The showroom serves as a direct reflection of my brand and design aesthetic. I have carefully curated every selection in that showroom,” she states. The dynamic environment of the showroom, updated weekly, ensures that it remains a source of inspiration for all visitors. “Everyone that visits will leave with fresh ideas for their own spaces,” Quinn promises.
