In the world of luxury home textiles, few names resonate as powerfully as Liz Barbatelli, the Los Angeles-based fine linen stylist and president of E. Braun Beverly Hills. With a legacy built on over a century of fine craftsmanship, Liz’s passion for beauty and artisanal expertise is an inheritance passed down through generations of entrepreneurs, artists, and collectors. Her journey into the luxury linen world began with a distinguished career in fashion, where she worked with iconic brands such as Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and Liz Claiborne. Here, she cultivated an acute understanding of how elegance and utility can merge to enhance daily living.
The story of E. Braun dates back to 1893, when Emil Braun established the brand in Vienna as a purveyor of fine linens, silver, china, and home accessories. Over the years, the company expanded, opening a second location in New York in 1943. This Madison Avenue store quickly became a world-renowned landmark for luxury linens, celebrated for its unparalleled quality and commitment to excellence. Under Liz Barbatelli’s stewardship, E. Braun has continued to flourish, relocating to its prestigious West Hollywood location while maintaining the brand’s rich heritage and timeless approach to design.
At E. Braun Beverly Hills, Liz has carried forward this legacy, creating linens that embody a refined balance of tradition and modernity. “I strive to change people’s perspective about what can be both beautiful and useful in their daily lives,” she explains. Her work extends beyond mere aesthetics; it’s a craft that seeks to elevate the sensory experience of living, whether through the perfect table setting, a plush bath towel, or bedding that transforms a bedroom into a sanctuary. Each piece is crafted with an artisanal approach, ensuring a timeless quality that meets the highest standards of luxury.

Liz’s unique artistry and attention to detail are what make E. Braun Beverly Hills a landmark for luxury linens. Nestled in West Hollywood, the atelier offers a haven for clients who appreciate the finer things in life. The shop is renowned for its wide array of luxury bed linens, basics like towels and pillows, bathroom accessories, and table linens, all designed with a holistic understanding of beauty and function. “I was and still am motivated by the belief that fine linens extend far beyond aesthetics,” Liz shares, “they are lasting experiences that elevate the most beautifully simple everyday life.”
What sets E. Braun Beverly Hills apart is Liz’s dedication to personalization. Each project begins with a deep dive into her client’s lifestyle, personal tastes, and home environment. Whether designing for a home, hotel, or even a superyacht, Liz ensures that the linens she creates reflect her clients’ unique needs and aesthetics. “When I create a custom table linen and accessory program for a client, I start by learning about their personal wants and needs,” she notes. By collaborating closely with interior designers and clients, Liz creates spaces that are indulgent, inviting, and always functional.
“All from my personal collection. I created a Fall/Thanksgiving scene using specially made Mystical Deer hand-painted Majolicafrom Grazia in Deruta, Italy, vintage Tiffany silver service, large crystal goblets with hand-painted water glasses from Paris, embroidered napkins and reversible hard faux-snakeskin placemats. I created the center display using gourds and minipumpkins, hand gathered leaves, small vessels of French marigolds and antique English Oak open twisted candlesticks tocomplete the table setting.” - Liz Barbatelli

Her vision extends beyond trends, focusing on timeless elegance while incorporating modern touches. “I believe in uniting family heirlooms or favorite pieces with modern design to honor the unique stories that these pieces hold,” she says. This philosophy allows her to craft linens that are not only beautiful but steeped in personal meaning, creating a connection between past and present.
Through E. Braun Beverly Hills, Liz Barbatelli continues to redefine the world of luxury linens. Each collection reflects her unwavering commitment to artistry, tradition, and the pursuit of living well. Whether designing bespoke linens for an intimate home or a lavish yacht, Liz transforms the everyday into an extraordinary experience, one handcrafted piece at a time.
